The Story behind Sorchajwlry
Nature and beauty
I was walking along a beach in West Scotland when I found shells on the beach with the holes in, I thought these would make a beautiful pair of earrings. I started there and continue to make pieces using items I find on beaches.
The name Sorcha (Sor-ka) is Scottish Gaelic for brightness. I started making jewellery when I was going through a tough time personally and it helped me find a way through. I wanted the name to reflect this journey.
My favourite holiday is going to Cornwall with all my family. I love the idea of bringing a piece of it back with me and making it in to something unique and special.
