This unique pendant is made using a mussel shell that is half open. A pearl is then suspended within the shell on a gold plated chain. The pendant is attached to an 18inch gold plated chain. The way the mussel shell has been attached helps to provide some strength to the open shell, but care should be taken when wearing this piece to avoid damage.
